Find out what’s actually wrong before you pay anyone to fix it.

Most owners know something is off. Very few know exactly what, or what it’s costing them. The Assessment answers both.

The eight functions

There are eight core financial functions in any business: accounting oversight, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting and forecasting, cash and debt management, audit and compliance, process improvement, and regulatory and tax compliance.

We compare those eight against what your organization is actually performing today. The gaps are the work — and they’re almost never anyone’s fault. In a growing business, responsibility expands faster than the roles around it.

What we look at

Your financial statements and how they’re produced. Your reporting, and whether it supports a decision. Cash flow visibility. Inventory, if that’s where the problem shows up. Approvals, oversight, and where too much sits with one person. The processes behind all of it.

What you receive

A written finding of what’s broken, what’s at risk, and what it’s costing you. A prioritized list of what to fix. And a recommendation on what not to fix — some problems aren’t worth the repair.

What happens next

One of three things: nothing further is needed, we scope a repair engagement, or you take the findings and fix it yourself. All three are fine outcomes.

Repair work is always a separate engagement with its own scope and fee. We don’t begin corrective work without this step.
